Pengaruh Expressive Arts Therapy terhadap Self Acceptance Narapidana Kasus Narkoba

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh expressive arts therapy terhadap Self Acceptance pada narapidana kasus narkoba. Pada kegiatan yang dilakukan self expression memiliki peranan dalam menimbulkan perasaan bahagia, meningkatkan emosi positif, membantu mengurangi stres sehingga secara tidak langsung mampu untuk meningkatkan Self Acceptance. Selain itu kegiatan expressive arts therapy yang dilakukan secara berkelompok, memungkinkan timbulnya dukungan sosial dalam kelompok dimana menurut Ryff (2005) dukungan sosial adalah salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan Self Acceptance. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen pretest posttest control group design pada 25 Narapidana Narkoba. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa adaptasi dari Self Acceptance Scale. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t, dengan bantuan SPSS versi 22.0. hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor Self Acceptance  antara kelompok kontrol (M=98.83, SE=5.070) dan kelompok eksperimen (M=105.50, SE=5.282) setelah adanya perlakuan. Selain itu hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada Self Acceptance. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh Expressive Arts Therapy terhadap Self Acceptance Narapidana Narkoba
