Revitalisasi Pendidikan Kejuruan di Indonesia melalui Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran

Abstract


Revitalisasi Pendidikan Kejuruan diperlukan untuk memvitalkan kembali SMK. Kualitas pembelajaran tentunya perlu ditingkatkan untuk melengkapi siswa ketika lulus menjadi lebih produktif, inovatif, memiliki kompetensi keahlian siap pakai yang dibutuhkan perusahaan dan industri serta mampu menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan sendiri. Dalam implementasinya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menjadi landasan untuk mewujudkan tujuan revitalisasi ini dengan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bersama di sekolah. Keterampilan kepala sekolah dalam kepemimpinan seperti kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepemimpinan instruksional, kepemimpinan teknologi, inovatif, dan partisipatif diharapkan mampu memberdayakan sivitas di sekolah menuju peningkatan kualitas pendidikan.


 

The revitalization of vocational education is necessary to revive vocational schools. The quality of learning must be improved so that students can become more productive, innovative, and possess the skills needed by companies and industries after graduation, as well as be able to create their own jobs. In its implementation, the leadership of school principals serves as the foundation for achieving the goals of this revitalization by improving the quality of education within schools. The leadership skills of school principals, such as transformational leadership, instructional leadership, technological leadership, innovative leadership, and participatory leadership, are expected to empower the school community to enhance the quality of education.
